UNDOCUMENTED LEGALIZATION/LEGALIZACION DE IDOCUMENTADOS
Una misma espina q tiene atorada en la garganta dos paises en America ha sido por años los emigrantes ilegales Mexicanos q viven en USA.
Esto, afecta a USA y a Mexico tb.
El paso de trabajadores mexicanos a USA no se consideraba gran problema ya q desde los tiempos de la Revolucion o antes ( Mi bisabuelo y abuelo fueron unos de esos, mi bisabuelo murio aca de este lado.) el trabajador Mexicano solo simplemente cruzaba la frontera para buscar trabajo.
De hecho USA pidio gente a Mexico durante la segunda guerra mundial los mexicanos fueron contratados bajo
el programa bracero que se inicio 1942 y termino en 1964 en que
oficialmente termino el programa bracero..
La mayoria de estos "braceros" eran de extraccion campesina.
La mayoria regresaba a sus lugares de origen yaq solo necesitaba de "algun dinerito" para hacer una casita comprar vacas o poner un negocito.
Notese q en este arroyo de trafico legal de humanos (y despues ilegal) se mantenia casi el mismo numero de emigrantes: Unos se iban , otros regresaban.
Era un ciclo permanente con el mismo numero de personas.
Era raro q los trabajadores se trajeran a sus familias.
El verdadero trafico de humanos empezo cuando se termino el programa de los braceros y surgieron los "COYOTES".
Por cierto q a estos llamados "Coyotes" se les vilifica (demoniza?) por los medios de comunicacion q los presenta como criminales.
Nunca nadie habra pensado hacerles una estatua a esos seres desconocidos q ayudaron a Mexico a q entraran millones de dolares en divisas extranjeras?
Gracias a ellos muchas gentes ahora estan en USA, gracias a ellos muchos hicieron fortuna.
Por un lado , en los medios de comunicacion, se ha perpetuado la idea (cierta) de q Mexico necesita esas divisas q mandan los paisanos y por otro lado se le vilifica a esas personas q ayudan a q la gente cruce y haga fortuna.
Por q ese doble estandar?
No todos son buenos, claro esta.Existen historias de terror, pero la mayoria son historias de exito.
El ciclo de emigrantes ilegales se mantenia casi igual despues de la terminacion del programa de "braceros": unos entraban otros salian.
Aumento un poco por q ahora era mas "dificil" -por decirlo asi- cruzar la frontera asi es q ahora muchos se quedaban aca en USA auemantado el numero de emigrantes ilegales y por ende rompiendo el ciclo.
El Arroyo crecia.
Y crecia mas con los demas emigrantes de otros paises q en los 60's y 70's con el auge de los medios de comunicacion (Hollywood con su cine, tv, periodicos ) vieron (o creyeron) a USA como un pais donde todo mundo era rico y todo mundo podia ser rico o al menos donde un dolar podia comprar mas q pesos u otras monedas.
En Mexico, a la situacion cronica de pobreza se le agrego la situacion de terror, persecucion e injusticia gracias a la dictadura PRI ista q se vivia ya q de hecho la llamada Revolucion ( yo le llamo guerra civil por q Revolcion no hubo ) nunca logro nada ya que a dos años de haber triunfado en 1925 en 1927 hubo una contra revolucion por parte de los perdedores q veian como se les iba el poder de las manos y el control q ejercian sobre millones de gentes, poder y control q tuvieron por cientos de años desde la llegada de los Españoles a Mexico.En 1810 despues del triunfo d ela llamada Independencia. Si mis paisanos fueran mas cultos y leyeran mas se darian cuenta (creo) q fue una Independencia promovida por los CRIOLLOS o sea hijos de españoles nacidos aqui: gente blanca, "fina" con "derechos" "elevada" e hijos cercanos al nuevo "dios".La Independencia era guerra d elos criollos para independizarse de España en ningun momento se hablo de eliminar castas , deerechos para los indios o d emejorias para los no criollos.en Realidad fue una Guerra de españpoles contra españoles donde los pobres fueron solo carne de cañon.Volvamos a 1927 cuando los ricos, hacendados e Iglesia organizaron ejercitos para intentar descarrilar el tren d la Revolucion con el pretexto de libertad de culto, a estos contra revolucionarios se les llamo CRISTEROS y en los templos los sacerdotes juntaban a toda la gente y les daba una estampita de la virgen en el sombrero para q la virgen los protegiera de los balazos, cosa q creian a ciegas.
Asi es q debido a las varias guerras mis paisanos mas inteligentes ,emigraban a USA ya q no entendian por q habia guerras o q se peleaba ya q solo querian sembrar y trabajar en paz.
Nunca fue tan dificil cruzar la frontera ni la "cruzada" costaba tanto. Lo unico q se necesitaba era valor para viajar desde la ciudad o aldea de donde era uno y conseguir dinero entre familiares , amigos o el hombre mas rico de la localidad o vendiendo algo, terrenos, vacas, puercos etc etc.
Cuando yo llegue a este pais hace mas de 34 años ya habia pasado una Amnestia de Indocumentados en 1976, pero aun asi el flujo de personas a USA seguia.
En 1986 hubo otra Amnistia para los trabajadores del campo y de un dia para otro millones de mis paisanos(as) se volvieron trabajadores del campo!!
El Arroyo trajo una crecida relampago!!
En 1986 fue la mayor "tranza" q hizo el pueblo Mexicano en conjunto ( esto deberia irse al libro Guiness de records) y el "tranzado" fue el pueblo Americano.
Este "triunfo" d mis paisanos los volvio "creidos", s eles subio el humo a la cabeza y empezaron a hacer mas "trancitas" y a traer los malos habitos del Mexicano.
Antes de esta Amnistia el Mexicano se cuidaba mas d la policia, d la migra , respetaba mas al ciudadano Americano.
El paisaje de los pueblos y ciudades de USA empezo a cambiar.
El Mexicano empezo a actuar como si estuviera en Mexico.
Se empezo a ver como una Invasion de Mexicanos hacia USA y a ningun pais les gustan las invasiones, menos si esa invasion se hace mas notable en las calles, carreteras, negocios, trabajo, parques o sea en lugares publicos.
El pueblo Americano se dio cuenta de la "tranza" del '86 y se dio cuenta q en cierta forma los paisanos Mexicanos querian imponer su estilo de vida en un pais q no era el de ellos ( si ya se q diran muchos , pero la realidad es otra).
El pueblo Americano tenia las manos llenas ya con los Afro Americanos q despues de haber ganado la lucha contra la Descriminacion racial empezo a actuar no como un ciudadano mas sino como parasitos q se vengaban ahora de los patrones blancos.
El Afro Americano se volvio mas abiertamente insensible con el resto d ela poblacion con su musica a todo volumen, empezo abiertamentea vender droga, a la contaminacion de la ciudad con su basura, a la contaminacion visual con su forma de expresarse a gritos y escandalosos....Notar q hablo de los AfroAmericanos no de mis paisanos.
Despues de la Aministia ( "tranza") del '86 la poblacion aumento ya q se quedaron en USA los q pudieron tranzar a la migra con documetos comprados (al estilo Mexico), mas aparte se trajeron a sus familias.
La gente seguia cruzando y (y sigue) igual a USA , gente q se agregaba al numero de los Mexicanos legales aca en USA. El ciclo de salir y entrar se rompio.De un de repente nos hicimos notar por nuestra forma de actuar culturalmente y por el numero de Mexicanos q en cosa de unos cuantos años subio como la espuma.
Y se vino la defensa contra los Invasores.
Todo empezo con un ,Gobernador Republicano de California en 1984 Pete Wilson con su famosa Proposicion 187.
Por cierto el unico lider Latino q pudo haber sido el lider natural de los latinos contra los racistas Americanos era Julio Cesar Chavez , lider campesino, q por coincidencia murio meses antes q Pete Wilson empezara su campaña a toda maquina contra los emigrantes.
Lo raro es q Cessar no estaba tan viejo, solo tenia 58 años!!
Despues de Pete Wilson le siguieron mas lideres Republicanos por todo el pais y hasta la fecha es una espina q Mexico y USA tienen atravesada y aqui dejo mi

Suddenly I was in front of a small group of people having a meeting about the Legalization.
I was surprised , but these people were not, it looks like they were wating for my words.
I went thinking on how the devil or god teletransported me here.
But
I stopped thinking about that, now I needed to get out of this one, I
was in front of hundreds of people, and if I tried to explain to them
that this was a trick of the devil or god; I knew it would not work.
So here I was, with my wonderful ideas about solving everything.
Iniside my head I was thinking what was the best method to stop caring about some issues or how to stop thinking at all.
Then I remember the opening line that all PRI demagogues use.
Those words that I hated so much as much as I hated the PRI politicians.
Comrades!!(This sounded like any politician from PRI school, I don´t know why I spoke like that)
We
are gathered here with a hope that united we can achieve a Legalization
for many of you here and a lot of Mexican brothers out there, and not
for only Mexicans, but also for illegals from all around the globe.
America has been a country of Immigran , since her birth on this world, immigrants made America great.
And
that is why I am here and you too to make America great, you and I know
all this but most Americans do not, and I think I know how we can make
this Americans understand that we can make America great again and
that we are not a burden but a great help.
I will start with my name.
My
name is Juan Perez Gonzales, I am from a small town on Jalisco, and
like many of you, crossed the border illegally, many years ago.
I, like many of you crossed various times and also like you too, have many stories to tell of how was la cruzada.(the crossing)
If
all of us gathered here could write the story of those days we could
have a diverse book with all the hues of emotions that a human can

I hope that after listening to me that will be convinced from the bottom of you heart that YES WE CAN.
My first question Can anybody living in Mexico just by wishing, could come to USA?
CAN WE? yes we can,, and we could ... that is why we are sitting here right now ,but it cost us sacrifices, money and suffering.
All
started with an idea, a hope ,when you want it to come here, you made
figures and said yes it can be done...and you did it, you came to USA
for a piece of THE AMERICAN DREAM.
Just think for a moment that you still are in Mexico.
Make numbers and tell me how much would it cost to come from Mexico and be be here in the USA where you are seated right now.
How much would you need?
How many of you have relatives or friends here in USA or Mexico that would help you to realize your dream?

Since you left your city, town or hamlet how much did you spent?
give
me numbers including transportation,food,coyote,mordidas, money left to
your families while you could make some money here in the USA.
I have a number but I want to hear from you to see if we agree on that amount.
All people gave me numbers and they went from $2,000 to $10,000 dollars.
So I figured that a good average would be $5,000.

So we can say that we could easily spend $ 5,000 dollars to come to America...right?
Ok , I can see that most of you agree on that amount.
Keep on mind those $ 5,000.
So, if la MIGRA came right now to this building, I guess we´d have to pay those $ 5,000 or more to comeback to USA..right?
When I said that, I saw lots of panicked eyes, some even looked to the exit door ,I felt the uneasinnes.

Don´t worry, the migra is not coming here, sorry if I scared some of you.
I said so you can keep on mind all the troubles you would have to go trough if there was a raid here.
Rememeber I asked you to keep on your brain those $ 5,ooo ?
The very reason I came here was to ask you How much would you pay to to the Goverment to let you stay here?
How much would you pay to live peacefully and go freely anywhere on the USA just for pleasure or for work?
How much would you pay so you can have a legal right to work?
How much would you pay to have a driver license?
By ¨coincidence ¨they mentioned the same amount as before $ 2,000 to 10,000.
Can any immigrant gather all that money?
May be you don´t realize that you come with maybe $ 2,000 in a jiffy.
How many of you made new friends here in this country?
How many of those friends are willing to help you to come up with $ 5,000?
I know of few ones that I gladly would help them to come up with that money.

Like
the first time we came here to USA we relied on friends to help us
because it was then a big hope, now again it it is a big hope.
How many of us have land that we don´t cultivate any more? How much can we get for that idle land in Mexico?
My question is... Can we do it?
How
many of you made good money because you got help from community
agencies here in USA? How many of you built good houses in Mexico
because of that help?
We Mexicans know that many did their money that way.
Only
20 years ago the American People were ignorant about those things, but
technology taught them some things about us. Now they know that we
pretend to be poor to get free stuff.
It;s not your fault , that what you learned for generations. The PRI dictatorship promoted that.
Now they know too that some people abused the system doing the things I just mentioned.
That is why they hate us.
Now
is time to teach them something else:that no every Mexican is a human
being needing handouts or help from them or community agencies.
Now is time to teach them that we are a new breed of Mexicans .
Now is time to teach them that not all Mex are prone to cheat if they can.
Even
people living in Mexico has the same things ( commodities)that
Americans have (and they are paid in pesos not dollars) ....that means
that Yes we can
Si se puede!!
Lets show them that we Mexicans can think too and offer sollutions to help this country!!
We have to erase of their brains the idea that all Mexicans are lazy people squating under a cactus!!
Do you think
we can come up with $ 5000 in case WE OFFER that kind of money to the goverment?
What about if we offer to pay that amount cash or in 5 year payments?
I we offer to pay that amount... do you think the economy of this country would have a boost?
Do you think The American People would like what we offer?
I made a special remark on the word OFFER all the time.
Can we do it? can we change the perception that American people have of us?
Lets give an offer that even non brainers like Tea party people can't refuse.(or understand)
when
you left Mexico you had to made sacrifices to get here...well now is
time to give back something to the country that gave us more that we
could have in Mexico.
Lets talk to Beck, limbauhg, stern, o reilly
non brainers like tea partys , birthers. minute men and all
republicans lets tell them here ,we mexicans have $--------- in
American dollars ...can this help America?
And besides of that money we could give an extra $ 200 (tax) each year for the next ten years.
I could tell that the seed was sown in some fertil soil.
I said some.
Not all attendants had happy or hopeful faces.
I guess many years of---------------- did not help.
Many
of the attendants did not want any changes, they were still used to
have handouts , or cheating taxes, or putting their sorry face to get
something.
The easy way.
Corruption and apathy had rooted deeply on some of my people due to many generations being the same way.
The ones with gloomy , long faces are the ones that are the same as Republicnas , dont´want changes or are afraid of them.
Or maybe this fellow mexicans think of me as another politician like the the PRiistas they are used to in Mexico.
Those are the ones we need to convince, those that are tired of the same all politics and chicanery.
Most of you understand that yes WE CAN, but some of you them will need help.
This people that don´t believe tha YES we CAN are the same as our enemies the Republicans.
This people are the first ones that will call me racist, renegade.
These are the ones that could end our dream .
Lets help them.
Lets make them understand that if we are united we wont be defeated.
Lets
learn from history,I don´t know how many of you are aware of the fact
that many years ago Spanish came to Mexico and found us divided and that
is how they conquered us.
Lets be intelligent this time, lets all Mexicans be one solid front against beck, limbaugh, etc etc
I can tell by your faces that many of you got the idea.
Problably you are ready to go out in the streets and start shouting yes we can.
Yes we can, no doubt about it.
But it is not so easy.
Lets change our ways first, lets not scare the People we are asking a favor from

know there is many people out there that have spent a lot of their time
trying to get this Legalization trough, but years has passed and they
have not suceeded and at the time we are having this meeting I don´t see
any hopes that we are close to ge anything.
Lets find out what it is the best way to present our idea to the American People and (mainly) Republicans.

The Great Idea
Comrades, I am going to be direct with you, no dilly dally
with this matter of Legalization.
We already identified our main opponents.
Our enemies, the people opposing this Legalization are
mostly
¨White
Republicans
Illiterate (tea party people)
Rich racists (minute men)
Older People
Fox news and their fear mongers stars.
Disgruntled People who hate our president Obama and think he is an
immigrant or socialist people who finds an easyPoor, ignorant white people living off Welfare ( Tea Party) scapegoat for most of
their troubles , specially now days.
( don't feel bad this is nothing new. for thousands of years in all cultures , this has been
happening)
.
As you can see we have many enemies.
All
of these people share one thing in common: They are
republicans and for several generations have been leaded by fear mongers
politicians. The fears they felt they it was projected to several
generations of mostly illiterate people who are easy prey for them.
For many years humans have demonized or
idolize the unknown or make up something to live with or accept it.
This people I just
mentioned are remnants of the cold war era, specially old white people and
people who have not been exposed much to culture or are plainly racist.
One thing they have
in common they all fear communism, socialism or radical changes or anything new.
Lets wear our
enemies shoes, be in their places and think what would you do if they see
people on the streets chanting slogans that they consider socialist or communist
When they see you with El Che t -shirts,banners DEMANDING legalization , banners with a Virgin, banners in Spanish.
They don't understand this, and humans,what they don't understand, they fear it.
So, do you think
this people would be sympathetic to our cause?
No, no when they are
afraid.
It is not their
fault, we have to blame many already dead
politicians who instilled fear for several generations.
They won´t be sympathetic to us now that they feel President Obama is a demon leading us
trough the path of Socialism.
One more time I need to remind you this: For many years we have great
enemies, politicians or personalities who use the tactics of fear for their own
use.
But they never saw thousand of Mex together and DEMANDING something, even if they DEMANDED the exactly same rights in 1835 when The americans WERE the immigrants staying in Mexican Land.
Our enemies use use (scare)
the most vulnerable American People elder and red necks non brainers.
Elders and red neck
are prime weapons used by this politicians using their scare tactics.
So, we
have identified the enemy, we now know why
they react against us.
Don´t be so quick to
say that they are just racist.No.They are afraid.And that, fear, we both our enemy and us have in common.It's just human. We are afraid too,
that, we have in common with them.
We fear Police,
Migra, KKK, Minute men, Tea Party, discrimination .
we feel the same
fears that Jews felt when Nazis came to power.
And we have a the
son of a Nazi as Governor of California.(Himself a Nazi Youth)
And we have more
states going the same way that Governor Wilson of California started with his
Proposition 187. So we know FEAR. And our enemy too, I just told you what are their fears.
They are afraid of
changes and President Obama is doing some changes, he is stirring their peace.
They already
have a big worry and we add one more worry to their psychological
affected brain.
Why instead of
scaring them with El Che, Virgin Guadalupe or other offensive (for
them) banners, why don't we come with a big check offering a way to
solve this economic crisis?
So, we and them, the
American people are afraid.
WE are a nation in Fear!!!! The Great America is in Fear!
We Mexicans for many
generations were stripped off of our
pride as a race and also made believe that we were dumb, this done by Spanish
Conquistadors using a cross as their weapon.
This was psychological abuse.
Americans were also Psychologically abused too by many years of politics of fear and by
politicians that thought that the White race was better that any race and they
had the right to expand and take any land necessary to teach their ways.(or
impose)
Spanish had exactly
the same idea many 500 years ago when they came to Mexico.
But we live in a
world where we need each other, rich and poor we all are essential to each other.
We live in a land
that even if was Mexican , now,like it or not is American.
And this American
people speak a very different language
than ours.
Capitalism is their
Language, money.
The only Language
that might ease their fears is the language of economy, a strong economy that
will make us and make them live in harmony.
America has always
been a capitalist country. that means money is first.
So, lets speak their
language.MONEY, economy.
We have a chance of being the Heroes of the movie.
Republicans
paid one of their delegates to go see a nude dancer, don´t you
think they have somebody in their party that can do simple math like multiply $ 5,000 X the number of
alleged illegals? That plus a special tax, and some other socio-economic
benefits.
(Don't ask a Tea
party member to do this math...he or she
would not be able to figure it out.)
This
dream we want to acomplish it won´t be so easy, there is a lot more to
come to convince our opponents to stay away from the politics of fear,
hoping that they will see the reality.
The reality is, We immigrants can help the economy, not BRAKE it.
Another Meeting
So, here I was again on another meeting set by god´s people , by this, I mean church people.
I did not feel very confortbale around in this place( a catholic church) or around this people.
Not many people had shown from the last meeting.
So I started asking people if they remembered what we spoke on the last meeting.
The few ones that were on the last meeting all came with the same answer
¨We
can help the failing USA economy , and we have to have a different
approach to present our case to Republicans and groups sponsored by them
like Tea Party, Minute men, and Fox News and other Republican media.
Good!
The main idea was sown in their minds.
But I knew that many years of politics of fear instilled by Rebuplicans, peaked to the utmost levels in the 50´s.
The most visible masterminds were Mc Carthy and a gay FBI chief Edgar Hoover.
Many
Americans that grew in tha era are still alive, now they are mostly old
people, wich for this kind of politics are prime prey.
Many of the original politicians that started the cold war were still around like Jesse Helms, Ronald Reagan etc etc
Then
came their clones who were at the present are the most ardent
anti-imigrants Pete Wilson, Arnold Schwaznegger,(add more names)
So this meeting would be about securing a victory.
How?
With more than one sweet idea about helping the economy.
so that was the agenda
1 Present more than one idea to secure our victory, ideas that Americans could not pass by or resist.

Ingrain in my people´s brain the idea that we Mexicans could change
the concept Americans had of us about being people waiting for
handouts. Those 3 words SI SE PUEDE would a real meaning.
3 Talk
to my people about changing their old ways or habits of corruption and
machismo.Only this way Americnas would see us a civilized people worth
of living along them witout being an annoyance or being a threat.
Countrymen we identified
what identifies America:Money.
This means we are learning to speak their language:Money.
Do you know what other things would make Americans happy about us?
What other things the Republicans blame us?
Drugs.
We immigrants can offer the American people something that they can refuse: Help with the War on drugs.
I know, and you too, that somehow they are the most guilty ones since there is a big demand (?) market (?)coming from America.
If
there was no demand (?) for drugs, I think many Mexican criminals would
not get greedy and our country would not be in this bloody chaos.
Guess all the weapons those criminals use to kill innocent people where they buy them? (Fast and Furious)
Guess who, in the past ,allied with narco traffickers in Central America and Cuba just to stop one of their greatest fears: Comunism.
I
think Mexico should sue America because they inderectly are causing
many deaths and terror in Mexico and more drug addiction.(does someone
here in
USA or Mex knows a story where drugs affected families or neighbors? )
Now drugs just don´t come to America, some stay in Mexico, and our more weak people abuse it.
Our poor or young people suddenly have a way to make easy money.
They want to buy the products they see advertised just about everywhere in Mexico , by the way American products.
It sounds crazy but America has allied herself in different eras with traffickers all over the world to suit her best interest.
Learn
something countrymen, America has sold weapons to Mexican criminals
that have been killing and terrorizing our families in Mexico.
America
armed narcos ,believe or not they did ,they gave free weapons to
narcotraffickers in Nicaragua and other Central American countries, Cuba
and many other countries so they could help fight Comunism.
Any of our countries can't
have a prolonged war because they just would ran out of money , ammunition or
weapons, but enter USA and these war gets prolonged for years and years
killing hundres of thousands of innocent people.Our own people.
What do we learn here?
America fears Communism, Socialism or any things that means change.
And we , blatantly are showing signs of fear.
Do you realize how terrorized were White Americans after Afro Americans won rights in 1865 and in 1968? Maybe you don't want to hear it but most of Mexicans share many bad habits.with black people. Do you want to hear them?
Silence.

See how viciously the Republicans are attackink President Obama.
Now more than ever the American People are scared.(well ,I mean the elder and tea party people and some other weak minded people, inteligent people tolerate diversity.)
They are Scared even of they own president.
So
we don't have to act or speak in a way that resembles Comunism or
Socialism when we ask something from them in their own country.
We don´t want to scare them, again ,lets speak their language.
How
about instead of coming with Virgin Mary or El Che images we come with
an offer of helping the American economy by paying _as we said before
_$ 5,000 ?
Yes they will be happy , but that is not enough to ease their fears.
What about those $ 5,000 get reduced if we let them know of any traffickers we know , heard of here in America or Mexico?
It woul be nice that for every criminal turned in they reduced those $ 5,000.
This would be done anonimously.
I know most of you, in your circle, know or have heard of a narco terrorist.
Let
help us stop the terror they brought to our people in Mexico, let us
make the American People understand that we Mexicans and Americans have
the exactly same problems.
Lets help stop these Mother fuckers terrorists.!!!Lets show the American people that we can do something about it!!
How about getting a credit if we help our sons Graduate from High school or College?
How about if help stop teen pregnacies in our daughters?
How about marching to demand cooperation between Mexico and USA so the Mexican Goverment can have offices of IMSS here in USA to stop Republicans from saying we broke their Health system?

Silence.
My worst fears had come true: My countrymen were not ready to really fight to achieve their dream.
They were so used to Narcotrafficants and to let them be.
They were the untochables, the unmentionables.
I had had heard too many times the phrase ¨let that people alone, don´t get associated with them, stay away from them"
Then
these people were idolized by many Mexicans because there were many
ballads (corridos) composed for them , glorifying the murders of lawmen
or rivals.
Also the silence was caused by many years of procastrination when it came to civic action.
My countrymen were and some still are used to say Why don´t the Goverment do this or that?
My Countrymen were so used to someone else speaking for them in order to achieve something.
I
wondered how many got used to the american way and had a will to change
their old ways, I wondered if they were ready to be part of America.
I sensed that this was what scared some many americans If we got legalized then America would be another Mexico.
This
my countrymen could not understand that America had her own ways of
being and they did not want to lose any of those ways, and here we were,
In America, with many Spanish speaking radio stations playing corridos
glorifying murderes and something worst, playing LOUDLY on the streets.
This
looked a lot like the black ghettos of America, because coincidentally
Mexican Narcos acted the same way as the black gangsters, showy, cocky,
un-civilized, unsensible to other people.
It was terryfying
thought to think of the possibility of raising the amount of Black and
Mexicans gangsters terrorizing the cities.
Can my Countrymen change their ways?
Other
cultures adapted more easily to America, not Mexico, and that scared
many people , specially on this times of unexpected changes.
I sensed that now I was perceived as an asshole and a racist that renegaded of my own people even if I had not spoken yet
of our national pride the tequila.
I dared to no speak about it.
But at least I let people know that Americans are afraid of our ways.
I
sensed that some were going to say something about how they knew some
Americans having the same or worst defects than my people.
so I
spoke I know that Americans are not perfect, they are just humans , and
that´s exactly what we try to achive , let them know that we are humans
like them, with sons that we try to raise in a good way, worries,
happiness , sorrows,(same feelings)
Yes , they are the same as us.
But this is their country.
For many years in different cultures immigrants are always blamed for everything.
But nowdays Americans are scared.
And they are in bad economic woes.
And they are being manipulated by fear monger Republicans like in the 50's.
Can we stop scaring them?
Can we show them some positive changes ?
Can we show them that we are not what they have always assumed?
CAN WE?
only a few shouts of SI SE PUEDE.
